Przedbórz 1927 Conscription Records (For Men Born in 1909): Herszlik Lewenberg

Protocol

On July 26, 1929, Antoni Łukasiński, secretary of the Magistrate’s Office in the town of Przedbórz, at the request of Marja Lewenberg, wife of Majchel, a resident of the town of Przedbórz, submitted in accordance with Article 32 Section 1a and Article 20 of the regulation of the President of the Republic of Poland dated March 22, 1928, regarding administrative proceedings. In the office of the Magistrate of Przedbórz, in the presence of the concerned party Maria Lewenberg, I questioned the following witnesses regarding the death several years ago of the petitioner’s son, Herszlik Lewenberg, born in 1909. The witnesses testified as follows:

1. Szlama Gliksman, son of Lejbuś and Frajdla, aged 58, residing in Przedbórz, after being warned about the responsibility for false testimony, stated: “I remember that Majchel and Maria Dowenberg, a married couple, had a son Herszlik, born in 1909, and that this son died approximately 18 years ago. I do not know whether a death certificate was issued for the deceased.”

2. Jakób Lizband, son of Moszka and Tauba, residing in the town of Przedbórz, after being warned about the responsibility for false testimony, stated: “I fully confirm the testimony given by Szlama Gliksman. I have nothing more to add.”

Przedborza, na żądanie Marji Lewenberg, żony Majleha, mieszkanki miasta Przedbórz, zgłoszone na podstawie art 32 p.1a oraz art. 20 rozp. Prezydenta Rzpp. Z dn. 22/III 1928 o postępowaniu administracyjnym. w biurze Magistratu m. Przedborza, wobecności interesowanej Maryi Lewenberg przesłuchałem na okoliczność zgonu przed kilkunastoma laty syna petentki Herszlika Lewenberga roczn. 1909 następujących świadków którzy zeznali:

1. Szlama Gliksman, syn Lejbusia i Frajdli, lat 58 zamieszkały w m. Przdborzu po uprzedzeniu go o grożącejmu odpowiedzialności za fałszywe zeznania – zeznaje: pamiętam, że Majchel i Marja małz. Dowenbergmieli syna Herszlika urodzonego w 1909r. I że syn ten zmarł około 18 lat temu. Czy zmarły miał sporządzony akt smierci tego nie wiem. Zeznanie zostało wszystkim odczytane.
